who are you?

From Rob Bell's counselor, when Rob was breaking down from being the "successful pastor", trying to always be everything to everyone:


"You're job is the relentless pursuit of who God made you to be. Anything else is sin."

bell's quote is jolting, convicting and, quite frankly, deserves a "BAM!". we must relentlessly pursue what God has called us to do in order to fulfill the purpose He has for us. In this day, if we don’t relentlessly pursue the purpose, it will get quickly covered up with other responsibilities and we will never reach the potential God has for us. we must start with our calling as our bull’s-eye, the thing that is in the center of our life and that is most important, and then carefully work out from there, only adding things that won’t take too much time and energy from our calling.
